(Income) Requirements
Are you employed? a working professional and your monthly gross income (including average bonus, when applicable) must be at least 3 times higher than the all-in rent of the studio.
Are you a student? Then you should provide us with a proof of enrolment at a Dutch university (for the current year). The rent of this residence is too high to benefit from housing allowance.
Startingdate? This residence can be rented out only from the 1st of the month.
About the residence
Proudly we present the comfortable studios on the Valschermkade in Amsterdam.
The furnished studios are carefully designed and offer you a comfortable and ideal stay in Amsterdam. Guests can stay maximum 2 months up from July. Rooms are fully furnished and all inclusive, including a pantry with fridge, coffee machine and water cooker, duvet and pillows.
You are assured of a thoroughly enjoyable stay in the city! The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and offers an order and pick-up service for residents.

- daily or weekly cleaning is optional for the rooms;

Parking
Parking on the street, paid Monday – Friday 09:00-19:00; Max parking 3 hours > 0,10 eurocent, after 3,50 euro per hour. Please contact the service desk during your stay for further information.

The impressive buildings are part of a bigger complex in Schinkelbuurt.
It is part of the region Amsterdam Schinkelbuurt and Olympic Quarter, the upcoming district in modern residences.
The perfect connections with public transport make the area easy to reach and fast to leave. Within 10 minutes you can be at the city centre. Amsterdam RAI is 3.9 km from the residences while Rijksmuseum is 4.4 km away. The nearest airport is Schiphol Airport, 7 km or 20 minutes at the international airport Schiphol.
From Valschermkade it is only a short walk to the park Schinkeleilanden, a city park surrounded by the classical modern and creative urban structures. With the transit station in front of the park, you can easily access places in Amsterdam and beyond.

Additional costs per booking
The extra costs per booking are €250 regardless of the length of stay, consisting of: administration fee, final cleaning of the room (after check out) and a linen pack consisting of covers for duvet, pillow and mattress, two large and two smaller towels.
A reservation becomes final after payment of the accommodation fee for the first month, administration costs, end cleaning and the deposit.
What’s not included?
Tourist Tax (7% of the room rate ex VAT) plus €3 per person per day for the first 21 days is not included in the price. We assume that guests will register or have registered at the municipal personal records database. You are then exempt from tourist tax. Registration as a resident is mandatory if you are planning to stay in Amsterdam longer than 4 months (regardless whether you are staying here or elsewhere)
The Deposit
A reservation becomes final after payment of the accommodation fee for the first month, administration costs and a deposit as stated on the invoice. The deposit is €700. This is a security payment for possible compensation of damages, unpaid hotel fees or other charges. In normal cases the deposit will be retuned within two weeks after check out.
