Temporary agency worker As a temporary agency worker, you can only book if you’ve been working for your agency for more than 78 weeks (Fase B or Fase 3). Note that having a secondment contract doesn’t guarantee that we accept your booking. We’ll evaluate your case to determine if you’re eligible to book.
This residence can be rented for a minimum stay of 1 months flexible and max 6 months, provided that you meet the requirements. Note > you can not book this apartment if you are already landed more than 2 weeks before contract starting date.
General Requirements
This residence is offered with a short-stay contract. You can stay for a minimum of 1 to 6 months, depending on the criteria you meet. The criteria is that you are not planning to settle your life in Rotterdam and surroundings, if you can answer yes to this question then you can book this property. Are you not sure about below? check with us first if you meet the requirements.
Important: Initially, the studios or 1-bedroom apartments of Rive are reserved for exchange students, new expats, and working professionals who need an urgent temporary housing solution (i.e. due to home renovation, internship, or temporary work in or around Rotterdam). If you are already living in – or around – Capelle aan den IJssel, you probably do not meet the conditions to book this residence with a short-stay contract.
Possibilities:
- you are not registered yet in Rotterdam or surroundings, you would like to stay in Rotterdam temporarily, you are planning to work or study in Rotterdam or surroundings (approx. 15 km away) The office that you are going to work for is registered in Rotterdam or 15 km surroundings.
- You are renovating your home, divorcing, selling your home, exchange student, first year students coming from abroad without a registration yet, send to NL by your employer for temporary work, in between houses these are all reasons for temporary stay.
- You are a new comer (expat) to the Netherlands (not living in NL or have lived in the past 3 years) and planning to look for further housing in Rotterdam and would like a landingspot, or are living in NL already and live 1,5 hour drive at least from Rotterdam (also for Dutch people possible maximum stay 6 months with 1,5 hour distance public transport).
- As an expat you just arrived in NL and just landed (max 2 weeks from now, we will ask you for the copy of your flight details, are you already landed then there is a max rule of 2 weeks in NL before contract start)
- Are you living already in NL and you live within 1,5 hour public transport to Rotterdam then you are not eligible, as these properties are for people who try to find a landingspot in (NL) Rotterdam and surroundings.
